Senior Finance Analyst

Who are you?

The senior financial analyst supports directly the GM of Finance and the responsibilities include deal origination, capital raising and feasibilities, preparing projections, assisting with financial planning and budgeting processes, analysing financial statements and reports and performing research and analysis as may be required by leadership.

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Leading and managing capital raising including structuring, financial modelling, due diligence, valuation and transaction documentation
  • Leading and managing debt raising from various financiers including negotiation, financial modelling, due diligence, structuring, valuation and loan documentation negotiation. This also include reviewing feasibility studies and proposing various profitability scenarios, exit strategies, funding scenarios and commercial considerations
  • Managing the preparation of all necessary financial and pitch presentations in acquisition, financing, capital raising and partnering negotiations
  • Lead detailed and complex financial modelling and feasibility analysis on existing development projects, potential investment and capital structures, acquisitions and other business expansion initiatives
  • Lead due diligence activities for site acquisition and investment opportunities
  • Performing research and analysis as well as manage preparation of market research report and providing recommendations
  • Manage preparation of investor reports
  • Assisting in modelling different financing arrangements and analysing various implications on cash flow and profitability
  • Tracking KPIs and preparing financial reports
  • Assisting project teams with financial guidance
  • Ensuring compliance with financial guidelines, company policies, and relevant legal regulations

WHAT ELSE DO YOU NEED TO HAVE?

YOUR SKILLS + EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and modelling.
  • Ability to present financial information to a non-financial audience.
  • Working knowledge of financial strategies.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with staff, at all levels, and third parties.
  • Detail-oriented and able to perform in a high-pressure environment.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and related financial systems.
