Part of the success of Beulah is a result of the broad expertise of its team. Its two Melbourne-based directors, Jiaheng Chan and Adelene Teh, balance strong business credentials and an understanding of the market with a rare appreciation for architecture and design.

Both directors are personally invested in every project, and are known for their integrity, their involvement in each part of the process and their commitment to delivering to all stakeholders including customers and associates.

Adelene Teh

Adelene is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Beulah International.

With a proud family history in property development and a background in architecture, Adelene Teh is the visionary who is responsible for overseeing the highly intelligent and innovative designs behind each project. Adelene brings her expertise and love of fine design to every part of the development process, as well as coordinating consultants and project management, to ensure the vision of Beulah is fully realised.

After gaining her Masters of Architecture from the University of Melbourne, Adelene applied her skills at award-winning architecture practices locally and overseas, before co-founding Beulah International.

Adelene is passionate about bringing something different to the property industry, and using her appreciation for design to deliver excellent results.

Jiaheng Chan

As the Co-Founder and Managing Director, Jiaheng leads the organisation to ensure commitments to stakeholders are delivered and that the organisation is resourced in all areas to realise the vision of Beulah International.

Jiaheng is heavily involved in business strategy, oversees every department and sourcing the next opportunity for the company’s continued growth. 

Prior to co-founding Beulah, Jiaheng was involved in development projects worth over $1bn including the successful Australia 108 project. He has also brought his MBA qualifications to a number of consulting and analytical positions with major multinationals.

Jiaheng’s innovative spirit in property is a continuation of his training in Mechatronics Engineering and his involvement in R&D for Fortune 500 technology companies. He is passionate about building relationships and partnerships with industry innovators to create something extraordinary.

David Monaghan

As Southbank by Beulah continues to come to life, David is the man behind the delivery and creation of Beulah's retail and hospitality projects.
 
With an extensive background with leading retail groups in retail management and leasing in both Australia and Asia, David is incredibly skilled at curating retail and cultural experiences. A powerful communicator, he has a reputation for building and maintaining strong relationships with international luxury brands and companies.
 
A natural leader, David has a Bachelor of Arts and post-graduate degree in International Business (Marketing).
 
Away from his role as the General Manager (Retail) on Southbank by Beulah, he loves to stay fit by taking to the tennis court for a hit. David also has a passion for travel and gardening, while family activities also play a huge role in his life outside of the office.

Jason Chan

With two decades of experience, Jason leads the Investment and Finance division as a General Manager - Finance. Jason brings a highly strategic and analytical skill set, along with an enthusiastic and sharp minded attitude.
 
On a day-to-day basis, Jason’s obsession with numbers and strategy will help him oversee the financial and investment opportunities at Beulah, as well as successfully manage Beulah’s financial and growth strategies, and overarching investment portfolio.
 
Jason’s strong passion for real estate investment, corporate strategy and finance is proven through a number of international and local experiences with multinational consulting practices and fund managers. Jason's career highlights include being the investment manager for a multi-million dollar real estate fund in the middle east, as well as previously leading the finance function within a multi-billion dollar property development environment.
 
Jason holds a Master in Finance and beyond his role, is a yoga enthusiast and a movie buff.

 

Luke Thornton

Overseeing the design and construction of some of Beulah developments is our Development Project Manager Luke Thornton. Luke offers a detailed approach to development and project management which fits together with his ability to build strong relationships and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
 
Keeping stakeholders at the forefront of all decisions, he brings positivity and pragmatism to challenges that arise and is an expert at cost management, reporting and multi-disciplinary design coordination.
 
Prior to joining Beulah, Luke has been a project manager for residential, hotel and mixed-use projects in Australia, Dubai and Kuala Lumpur. In his spare time, Luke can be found spending time at his family’s farm in South Gippsland, travelling or cycling.

Ai Ling Tan

With almost a decade of experience in the accounting and finance space, Ai Ling is responsible for overseeing all facets of the organisation’s finances. She is also involved in some facets of operations as the Finance and Operations Manager.

Her passion for details and numbers enables her to guide the organisation financially, including liaising with financial partners and ensuring the organisation delivers on its commitment to industry stakeholders.

Ai Ling’s bubbly and likeable personality, coupled with her invaluable knowledge gained from experience with some of the largest private developers, has been instrumental in the ongoing success and growth of Beulah International.

As a qualified chartered accountant, Ai Ling holds a Commerce Degree from The University of Melbourne and is passionate about travelling the world and embarking on new adventures.

Lauren McMinn

Lauren brings a friendly personality and extra creative edge to the marketing team as our Marketing Manager. Lauren is responsible for all marketing strategies, project brand developments, full campaign executions and editorial outputs.
 
She offers an organised and unique approach to marketing which fits together with her ability to build strong relationships. This ensures that we are able to deliver effective communication and promotion towards all Beulah International development projects.
 
Having been a CPA Qualified Accountant in another life, it wasn’t until Lauren joined Domain.com.au that she found her true calling for property marketing. Her achievements to date include driving innovation and new product ideas, as well as regularly smashing targets set before her.
 
Lauren loves coming home from work and spending time with her newborn boy Harvey and outside of work and motherhood, a good catch up with friends never goes astray.  

 

Maree Randerson

Highly knowledgeable and experienced across many facets of the property industry, Maree is one of the smiling faces who assists visitors at Beulah’s display residences.

As a Senior Property Advisor, she takes great pride in working with people to find their dream home or property investment.

With an extensive property career, Maree spent many years as the owner and Director of her own real estate company. She has also worked with multinational property firms across Melbourne and Sydney, making her a true expert in this market.

Always glamorous, Maree previously owned clothing boutiques on the Gold Coast, where she also designed her own pieces. So if you need a wardrobe overhaul or have an upcoming event, be sure to grill her for her fashion tips, as well as property knowledge!

Felicity Shalless

The first thing you will see when visiting the Beulah office is the welcoming presence of our Office Host, Felicity. More than just your standard office receptionist, Flic’s extensive hospitality experience means you will always feel at home in the Beulah office. With her endless support and incredible attention to detail, she keeps the Beulah office humming along and running smoothly.

As a keen conversationalist, Flic loves getting to know our guests and customers and helps the team deliver standard setting industry events, ensuring nothing is missed with her strong organisation, quick thinking and attention to detail skill set.

Prior to joining Beulah, Felicity has helped to deliver some of Melbourne’s biggest conferences and camps as an experienced stage manager, even managing the stage for Beulah’s Future Cities Symposium.

A typical Melburnian, Flic can be found every weekend brunching with friends and is an avid sport fan following AFL and tennis, as well as playing netball and basketball competitively.

Pauline Truong

As Beulah International’s Contract and Customer Relations guru, Pauline works closely with our sales team ensuring all contracts of sale are executed correctly. She is also the go-to person for any contract related questions, and is the friendly face all residents can rely on to answer any queries regarding their contract and variation requests.

Infectiously enthusiastic, Pauline believes in always being open-minded, willing to try new things, and remaining flexible to adapt to change.

Evidence of her ability to deal with complicated financial situations and her strong communication skills, Pauline has previously worked at one of Australia’s biggest banks in general collections and hardship enquiries.

With a heart of gold, Pauline was also acting Project Manager for a large fundraiser where all proceeds were directed to Food Bank. She also volunteered to assist the Red Cross during the Tasmanian bushfires managing inbound call donation and charitable payment processing.

Away from the office, Pauline loves to share in special moments with her family and friends, hitting the gym and indulging in all of Melbourne’s best cafes and restaurants.

May Jet Chuah

An astute individual with a sharp mind, May Jet is an enthusiastic, professional and dynamic Chartered Accountant.

With previous experience as an auditor, she utilises her high attention to detail, agility and financial knowledge in all tasks.

She excels in her role as Senior Accountant with her expertise in spreadsheets, statistics and finance.

Holding a Bachelor of Commerce from The University of Melbourne with the ability to speak five languages (not including her 6th language ‘Excel’), May Jet is an exceptional asset to the Beulah International team.

Outside of work, May Jet enjoys participating in extreme sports as well as playing badminton, going to the theatre and having excellent culinary experiences.

Rio Guo

A true numbers whiz, Rio is Beulah International’s trusted Financial Analyst. Priding himself on his solid finance academic background (including a Bachelor of Commerce), coupled with strong technical modelling skills, he has a breadth of industry experience.

With wide esposure spanning commercial sales and leasing, retail asset management, property analyst and property financing covering various asset classes, Rio is a true asset to the team.

Day to day he undertakes detailed financial modelling and feasibility analysis on existing and future projects and investments. He also eats math, excel and macros for lunch.

Away from the office, Rio is a mad basketball and soccer fan, claiming he would never miss a Manchester United game. He is also a true foodie and loves to head to the cinema with his family in his downtime.

Mitch Tayt

Diligently bringing several of Beulah International’s projects to life is Development Project Manager, Mitchell.

Coming from an extensive background in construction, Mitchell actually started out as a qualified carpenter before moving to the darkside aka behind a desk!

With his strengths lying in delivery, value engineering and management, he has previously played a major role in the management of a number of high-value commercial, residential and mixed-use developments.

When he’s not working, Mitchell is an avid AFL and Rugby Union fan and can often be found perusing Melbourne’s dining scene. Contact him for restaurant and footy tipping advice.

Will Winter

As Sales Executive at Beulah International, Will is passionate about helping people find their dream home and enjoys sharing in each individual journey. Excelling in communication, he is also in charge of providing project updates to existing clients.
 
With over five years experience working in real estate, Will is also a qualified auctioneer and has sold around $180 million worth of property in a variety of suburbs across Melbourne.
 
In addition, to obtaining his licence as a real estate agent, Will also holds a Bachelor of Business Management and a Bachelor of Business Marketing.
 
A revered colleague, he is described as being approachable, professional and hard working. However, not one to take life too seriously, Will is always able to have a laugh at his own expense.
 
Away from the office, he is an incredibly social person and loves spending time with his friends. In fact, if you drive past the Botanical Hotel or the Gilson over the weekend, you may just spot him! Will has a number of diverse interests (mainly sport) but one of his biggest passions is cooking because of its capacity to bring people together.

Ash Boyd

As a pivotal member of the Development team at Beulah International, Ash’s role as Development Project Manager covers everything from overseeing design and construction, and the overall management of the company’s developments.

With a penchant for strong communication, Ash prides himself on building long term professional relationships. His attention to detail and ability to effectively and efficiently apply himself over multiple concurrent projects ensures that optimum results are always his highest priority.

Holding a degree in Construction Management and Economics he comes from a family of property and construction professionals, which always makes for good robust discussions at the dinner table.

Beulah’s resident foodie (Broadsheet eat your heart out), Ash can just as easily be found dining at the latest talk-of-the-town restaurant or simply taking in the vibrant atmosphere of his local pub watching the footy with his mates. He also loves spending time with family and friends on both the Mornington and Bellarine peninsulas.

Courtney Wong

A key member of our marketing team, Courtney brings enthusiasm, creativity and her hard-working nature to all Beulah International projects. She maintains, updates and develops our marketing and communications material as well as liaises with various stakeholders to ensure the best marketing outcomes are always achieved.

Courtney has completed a Bachelor of Arts at The University of Melbourne majoring in both media and communications and psychology (ability to read minds) and is able to draw on her wealth of knowledge in her role.

She speaks four languages fluently and has previously been awarded as a top salesperson at a high-end fashion company due to her genuine and friendly personality.  In her spare time, Courtney can be found enjoying her hobbies such as gardening and cycling.

Chris Hatcher

Helping bring Beulah International’s projects to life is the highly experienced and dedicated Development Project Manager, Chris.

With a flair for problemsolving and a passion for building long-standing relationships with industry partners, Chris’ extensive experience in town planning and understanding of the industrial legislative process ensures he can expertly navigate the complexities of project development to successfully deliver outcomes.

From a young age, Chris had a keen interest in how cities, architecture, transport and design all come together, leading him to the completion of his Bachelor in Urban Planning and Development, and to now - playing a pivotal role within the Beulah team.

Away from the office, Chris can be found keeping fit at the gym or enjoying long walks along the beach with his favourite Jack Russell, Toby. Chris also has a passion for beachside travel, where he spends his time reading and keeping up-to-date with the latest podcasts.

Iris Shum

With the Beulah brand centred on luxury living, innovation and outstanding design, Iris, our Brand and Creative Lead ensures all communications are consistent and coherent by focusing on the core principles of the company.

Having been in the design industry for a decade, Iris believes her intuition and creative sixth sense help her produce the best possible work. With previous agency experience under her belt, Iris has worked for a variety of clients and likes to combine out-of-the-box thinking with purposeful solutions whilst harnessing a great belief in the power of collaboration.
 
Being creative by nature, it’s little wonder she likes to visit art galleries and exhibitions but she also enjoys music, yoga and travel.

Rodelle Lee

Rodelle is an integral member of Beulah International, joining the team as a design lead. A highly motivated individual, she strongly believes that impossibilities are an opportunity for innovation and finding a new solution.

With a Master in Architecture from the University of Melbourne, her strong eye for detail and background in multi-disciplinary design sees Rodelle bring a design focus that is set to take Beulah International to the next level.

With a wealth of experience under her belt, Rodelle brings a golden touch with global knowledge to the Beulah team and works closely with the development and sales team to facilitate design decisions across all phases of our projects to ensure alignment with the Beulah brand. Prior to joining Beulah, Rodelle gained experience from award-winning firms both globally and locally.

Outside of her inspiring globetrekking tales, Rodelle loves to find the best coffee in Melbourne, as well as getting the blood pumping at her regular F45 class. She even manages to find time to give back to the community by volunteering in the creative team at Planetshakers!

Teresa Mayerhofer

As an Assistant Development Manager at Beulah International, Teresa takes great pride in helping deliver all projects on time and to a high standard.

With a Masters of Architecture at Vienna University she received several awards for her student architectural projects, later completing a Masters of Real Estate at Henley Business School.

Possessing a natural eye for design backed by her wide ranging architectural background, Teresa’s creativity and attention to detail is second to none. She is also a stickler for organisation and systems too!

Gaining extensive experience in Austria, the UK and Shanghai, Teresa has adopted a global outlook which often inspires her work. She credits the delivery of luxury residential projects both locally and overseas as career highlights, including managing design and construction on several residential projects in Vienna.

Teresa’s creative talents extend into her personal life, with a passion for art and design, specifically illustration, and of course, architecture. A true jetsetter at heart, she is always planning her next getaway or adventure.

Will Thorpe

A valued member of Beulah International, Assistant Development Manager Will works closely with the team to ensure projects are delivered on time and to an exceptional standard.

With an extensive background in contract administration on both a residential and commercial scale, as well as a Bachelor of Construction Management and Economics up his sleeve, Will is aptly skilled at delivering a multitude of projects simultaneously, always ensuring optimum results are maintained.

Possessing strong communication skills, building long standing professional relationships with key stakeholders comes naturally to Will, while his vibrant personality adds significant value to the internal team at Beulah.

An avid sports fan, when not working Will can be found watching AFL with friends at his local pub, or catching up with them over drinks and dinner. Leading into summer, Will also loves taking some time out along the coast in Torquay.

Alan Chan

As Beulah’s incredibly talented Digital Marketing and Campaign Executive, Alan is an expert in everything from CRM, social media and digital advertising.
 
A passionate and self-proclaimed mystery solver, he enjoys unravelling complex marketing scenarios to achieve the best campaign results.
 
With extensive experience as a business executive in a media agency, Alan was immersed in all things advertising from planning and implementation on offline and digital platforms. 
 
way from the office, Alan is a sports fanatic with NBA and NFL his top viewing priority. An avid chef, he can often be found entertaining friends at home. Ask him for a recipe tip and he might just be able to help!

Joel Wong

As a Chartered Accountant in Australia and New Zealand, Joel Wong has extensive multi-national experience in the industry and is Beulah International’s Senior Accountant.

On a day-to-day basis, Joel is responsible for the accounting on various projects and developments within the company’s portfolio, utilising his champion data analytic and digital skills in relation to auditing.

While his superpower is his innate ability to deal with numbers, Joel sees his humour and pun skills as a sine of his personal strengths.

Away from the office, Joel is a tennis fanatic and is a natural when it comes to any type of racquet sport. He hopes that eventually, he will also be just as skilled in surfing or kite surfing as he his with numbers.

Cathy Cai

A pivotal member of Beulah’s finance team, Cathy’s role as Assistant Accountant is a busy one!

Responsible for maintaining day-to-day accounts and bookkeeping, she also is considerably involved in the company’s financial reporting and compliance.

Highly motivated and team focused, she prides herself on her organisation skills and attention to detail.
Proof of her talents, she won the National Award of ‘Circle of Excellence’ in a Fortune 500 property company in 2018.

While she's not crunching the numbers, Cathy loves to jetset overseas, embrace her inner yogi, indulge in movie marathons, and bake up a storm in the kitchen.
