My role is divided into two separate areas, which means every day is different, challenging and unexpected – in an exciting way!
Taking care of Beulah’s most important assets – the People + Culture – results in the role taking varied forms from one day to the next. Typically though, my day will circumnavigate finessing elements of the employee lifecycle – from resourcing through to talent and performance management, compensation and benefits, career development, risk management, and compliance. The operation management side draws my focus on building a solid base for the business and making sure that the business has the tools to perform to its optimum ability.
Beulah is a diverse company and my day reflects this. In the morning I might be working with different teams on mapping out internal processes to improve the efficiency of the organisation, or having a team meeting to go through the project plan of implementing new systems. The middle of the day could be assisting and advising the management about People + Culture queries followed by a quick lunch which will be typically balanced around meetings, and in the afternoon being more creative while working on a new Employer Branding strategy.
