The arrival of Spring at Fawkner House sees the project’s progress mirror the change in seasons, with sun-drenched spaces and continued progress on planter boxes, Fawkner House continues to come alive with each week.

The skylights on Level 3 are at the finishing stages having now been waterproofed. Throughout the building all of the oversized floor to ceiling windows and sliding doors have now been installed as well, creating beautiful light-filled spaces for each residence.

The front facade planter boxes have now been poured, signalling the completion of all planter boxes and concrete pours for the building as the structure approaches the exciting fit-out stages.

The renderers have also been hard at work, with the application of the coloured top coat due to commence in the next few weeks. Continuing to focus on the details – September also saw joinery installation and tiling commence on Ground Floor.

We want to take the time to commend VCON for doing a great job of keeping up momentum during this period of reduced resources, however we look forward to the momentum picking up once more as increased numbers are allowed on site.
