WORKSHOPS

INTO CARRY HAND STITCH WALLET WORKSHOP
10AM-3PM

Learn a new upcycling and repair skill while making your own Card Wallet. Using Into Carry production offcuts and scraps, you will learn how to blanket stitch with a needle and thread while crafting your Card Wallet. A blanket stitch is a great technique to have on the upcycling toolbelt. All you need is a needle and thread, which you can use to apply patches, hem clothing, or fix damaged edges.

DNJ PAPER MAKING WORKSHOP
1–2PM

Discover the ancient paper-cloth technique used by DNJ Paper for this year’s MPavilion uniform in a special two-hour workshop. In this hands-on demonstration and Workshop, Craft invites you to join DNJ Paper at MPavilion 10, designed by Tadao Ando, to discover the unique processes and philosophy behind creating the MP10 uniform and how they turn a sheet of paper into a luxurious dyed cloth.

HONEY BONES GALLERY PAINTING WORKSHOP

‘The Colour Green’ is an ode to nature in our urban spaces and built environments. The community is invited to join us and be guided in crafting leaves and flowers using sustainable materials which they will then place on a growing collaborative community green wall within the space.
