We’re thrilled to have received the green light for 23 eco-conscious heritage townhomes in Brunswick, which signifies the first permit of its calibre within the tightly held suburb since 2019.

Located at 17-23 Hodgson Street, the two storey development will be known as Brunswick Established and will sit behind the existing heritage facade onsite; seamlessly blending sustainable practices with rich heritage components to ensure the project adds to the rich cultural fabric that Brunswick is known and loved for.

A stone’s throw away from Sydney Road’s famed retail precinct and some of Melbourne’s most loved parklands, this two storey development champions sustainable practices. From maintaining the existing heritage facade onsite to incorporating initiatives like recycling bricks, repurposing salvaged timber, and designing for waste reduction, we’ve created homes with a lighter carbon footprint. Additional features, such as solar panels, electric vehicle charging and rainwater harvesting, enhance resource conservation and overall environmental impact, offering substantial benefits to the end user.

Designed by leaders in social and sustainable architecture, Six Degrees Architects, the large 3,705sqm site will also feature verdant common spaces inspired by traditional London Mews design, including a private laneway, landscaped courtyards and rooftop terraces. Residents will have the choice of two, three or four bedroom townhomes, making it perfect for individuals in many different walks of life, let that be downsizers or growing families who will make up the fabric of this new community.
