Big names lined up
for Southbank by Beulah
The next stage of architecture competition for our Southbank by Beulah project has commenced with the unveiling of a highly anticipated shortlist. Some of the biggest names in global architecture have partnered with well-regarded Australian firms to work on this landmark development at the BMW Southbank site. Shortlisted architect teams are:
Bjarke Ingels Group with Fender Katsalidis Architects
Coop Himmelb(l)au with Architectus
MAD Architects with Elenberg Fraser
MVRDV with Woods Bagot
Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA) with Conrad Gargett
UNStudio with Cox Architecture
We are also proud to announce our presiding jury featuring prominent individuals who will be reviewing the proposed architecture designs.
The jury members are as follows:

Prof Thomas Kvan, former Pro Vice-Chancellor and Dean of Architecture Faculty, University of Melbourne and Director, Australian Urban Research Information Network

The seventh juror will be announced in due course.
The architects will present their initial designs to the jury on May 17th with final presentation mid July 2018.
