Brunswick Established stands at the intersection of heritage, sustainability and design innovation. Behind the preserved façade of one of Brunswick’s earliest clothing factories, we’ve reimagined what it means to live sustainably within a heritage setting, repurposing the site for modern urban living. In collaboration with Six Degrees Architects, the project pioneers circular living at scale, with up to 80% of building materials recycled; repurposing bricks, timber, and steel from both the original factory and external sources. It also integrates systems such as solar energy, rainwater harvesting, edible gardens, and shared composting.
Each of the 23 townhomes is crafted for flexibility and longevity; offering customisable, multigenerational layouts that adapt to the rhythms of modern life, from courtyard studios to ground-floor bedrooms. It’s a regenerative model for inner-urban living and designed to grow with its residents while giving back to the community and the planet.
