A night of inspiration with Six Degrees
Brunswick Established

11 July

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all who attended our exclusive, one-night-only event, Wine & Design: In Conversation with Six Degrees Architects. Hosting this sold-out event was truly special as we engaged in intimate and insightful conversations with Founding Director, Peter Malatt, and Lead Project Architect, Amy Hall, delving into their creative process and the future of sustainable design, architecture, and living.

The evening featured an engaging interactive experience, including a lively Q&A session and an immersive walk-through on sustainable and heritage design, circular living, and much more.

During the Q&A, Peter and Amy shared insights on Brunswick Established, highlighting unique features such as the integration of sustainable practices and community spaces. They explained the inspiration behind the design, the philosophy of sustainability, and the creation of diverse typologies and laneways. Amy discussed the benefits of townhouse living, emphasising the balance of private ownership and community, while Peter elaborated on the importance of multigenerational living and designing homes that adapt to different phases of life.

Sustainability being a core pillar of Brunswick Established, Peter and Amy shared their approach to balancing design with sustainable principles, addressing challenges related to circular living and sustainability ratings. They emphasised the need to consider not only sustainability but also health, wellbeing, technology, and liveability in home design.

The interactive session included audience questions about sustainability standards, inspirations behind the project, wellness considerations, and the use of reclaimed materials. These discussions highlighted the thoughtful and innovative approach of Six Degrees Architects.
