Carols on Southbank
For festive fun
Beulah was thrilled to host its inaugural Carols on Southbank Christmas celebrations on Friday, 21 December, with an extension to Saturday, 22 December following heavy rain.
Held on the famous Red Stairs Amphitheatre, the carols were Beulah’s gift back to the City of Melbourne.
A vibrant family-friendly festive extravaganza, the evening saw world-class entertainers, Planetshakers, perform Christmas carols across three-40 minute sets, accompanied by a spectacular light show designed by Paul Collison of Eleven Design.
With over 30 internationally acclaimed albums, the Planetshakers band are widely recognised, touring globally every year across the USA, UK, Europe, South Africa, Asia, South America, Australia and New Zealand.
Spreading the hope and jubilation of the season, residents and visitors to the precinct embraced the festivities waving glow sticks and joining in on the carols.
