‘Seeds of Change’ pop-up exhibition
lands in Southbank

Beulah Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Melbourne property developer Beulah, has collaborated with the non-profit Empower Australia to create a progressive exhibition in Southbank. Known as ‘Seeds of Change’, the experience is designed to highlight local and global food insecurity, while simultaneously exploring the future of retail.

Set to open in Q4 2023, the Seeds of Change exhibition, with the creative direction of designers OneDesignOffice (ODO) at the former BMW site, will be a fusion of art, architecture, technology, and sound, with overarching themes of sustainability.

This immersive experience and guided tour will lead visitors through a captivating story scape, delving into the profound impact of Empower while encouraging us, as a society, to envision a redefined relationship between consumption and the spirit of generosity. Carefully designed with repurposing and circularity in mind, the exhibition space itself serves as a testament to environmental kindness, utilising recycled materials to effectively reduce waste.

“…to envision a redefined relationship between consumption and the spirit of generosity”.

“The Beulah Foundation believes the best way to make an authentic difference within a community is to create a genuine connection, and through this exhibit, we are creating not only an incredible visual space to explore but a space that is inspirational and can have a meaningful impact. Within the experience, a thought-provoking social experiment centred on conscious retail; challenges one to question possibilities by sparking reflection on the association between consumption and the acts of giving through artful experiences,” said Beulah Executive Director Adelene Teh.

The Seeds of Change exhibit is free to visit and bookings are essential.
