As part of its eco-conscious approach, the project team will aim to recycle and repurpose components of the site’s existing structure, which was originally home to one of Brunswick’s earliest clothing factories from the 1920s. Recycled bricks will be incorporated into architectural features, and salvaged timber will be repurposed for elements such as pergolas. Collectively, this will not only significantly reduce construction waste but will actively reduce the project’s carbon footprint and reduce embodied carbon from using new materials, aligning with Beulah’s vision for environmentally responsible development.
