A passion for design is at the heart of Beulah’s stunning portfolio. From Southbank by Beulah’s tallest vertical garden in the world, to the Interior Design Excellence Awards-shortlisted The Grounds of Kew, each project demonstrates a progressive approach to Melbourne’s property landscape.
Behind these transformative spaces is Beulah’s Design Lead Rodelle Lee, who believes that the seemingly ‘impossible’ is an opportunity for innovation and finding solutions. With extensive experience as a Registered Architect, Rodelle collaborates with each architecture firm, as well Beulah’s development and sales teams, acting as the design gatekeeper for decisions across every phase of each project.
With a strong eye for detail and background in multi-disciplinary design, Rodelle sheds light on setting high benchmarks and ensuring consistent brand alignment set to take Beulah to the next level.
I have the privilege of working across all projects which makes my day ever changing. Having projects at different phases means I can view marble slabs at a factory in the morning, be on-site to check on construction progress and sit through a 3D render meeting to prepare for a new project launch. It can involve reviewing layout and designs with architects or brainstorming internally for our next event or initiative.

Aside from daily tasks, I love being on-the-go and meeting people across different disciplines. I constantly learn from those around me which I truly enjoy.
Seeing a project come to life motivates me. At Beulah, we aim to deliver an outcome close to our renders or actually exceed it! A strong, clear vision is important as it eliminates compromise when making decisions, such as selecting final materials and specifications.
Travel. Inspiration is everywhere if you keep an open mind. When I’m overseas, I make a list of places I’d love to visit, including buildings, architecture, retail stores and galleries. These experiences have come in handy during ideation and problem solving. Now that travel is restricted, I still make time to explore the world digitally through social media and online platforms.

Surround yourself with inspiring people! Like iron sharpens iron, the same goes for people you choose to work with. Inspiration on its own isn’t enough — an idea remains dormant until the right group of people materialise it. I’m thankful that we have great people at Beulah for that!
