Beulah acquires Brunswick site
expanding inner-city footprint

Continuing to expand our inner-city footprint, we have recently acquired a new site in Brunswick to deliver an eco-conscious and locally-considered townhomes project.

The tightly-held location at 17-23 Hodgson Street spans over 3,700sqm and boasts two extensive street frontages totalling over 120m. We have appointed leaders in social and sustainable architecture, Six Degrees Architects, to deliver a collection of 25 low-rise, eco-sustainably best in class townhomes targeting carbon-neutral, that will consciously seek to retain the existing heritage facade on-site and add immense value to the precinct through community-focused, biophilic design and ecologically sustainable materials.

Beulah Managing Director Jiaheng Chan said the site presents an exciting opportunity to engage with the community to deliver homes that locals will warmly welcome.

“Brunswick is a thriving creative and environmentally-conscious pocket of Melbourne and we look forward to working with the local people and community to do the site justice. We are excited to work with Six Degrees Architects to deliver a raw, heritage warehouse-style, ecologically sustainable townhome collection designed to be low-density, unique and kind to the environment,” he said.

The ecological approach for Brunswick follows in the footsteps of Beulah’s most innovative residential project to date, The Wilds, set to become the first carbon-neutral detached housing development in inner Melbourne.

We can’t wait to reveal more about this exciting new project in the coming months.
