Drawing inspiration from a leading lifestyle hub
Exploring the transformation of Bali's Potato Head

As part of this month’s Beulah Perspectives — where we share inspiring transformational and progressive insights, spaces and experiences from around the world — we are taking cues from Potato Head, a game-changing lifestyle hub in Bali.

Garnering a reputation for its iconic sunset views, culinary prowess and award-winning cocktails over a decade ago, today, Potato Head is dishing up more than just the finest oceanside fare, recognised as a creative village, where music, art, design, food and wellness unite.

Designed by OMA founder Rem Koolhaas, it is now known as Potato Head Studios and is home to a hotel, subterranean nightclub, recording studio, and performance and gallery spaces.

Setting a new standard in sustainability, it maintains a zero-waste, plant-based restaurant, hotel slippers made from coconut fibre, and works with local craftsmen to create sustainable furniture products.

This shift from contemporary hot-spot to leading lifestyle name is one that Beulah has looked to for inspiration for its seamless transformation, packaged together through a local lens.
