This month’s list has curated by David Monaghan, General Manager – Commerical + Culture.
Launched in 2007 by Fabien Riggall, Secret Cinema has taken the world of immersive experiences by storm. From grassroots film screenings in abandoned London buildings, to large-scale productions in some of the most spectacular spaces worldwide, the group has created a 360-degree participatory Secret Worlds where the boundaries between performer and audience, set and reality are constantly shifting.
Located in New York borough Brooklyn, this 2,300 sqm space for creative exchange serves the creative community, locally and globally. Striving to spark new creative work, it has been built as a meeting place for pioneers from diverse backgrounds and encompasses meaningful design, including restaurant, retail, Urban X (startup accelerator), a courtyard for large scale exhibits, an atrium, workspace with large scale fabrication equipment.

Also located in New York, this experiential retail space combines co-retail/co-working space. It offers its members a sensory tasting room, retail lab, and brand incubator with fragrance flights, space for pop-up exhibitions, and an ever-evolving collection of maker-fueled products. With growth at its core, it also has an innovation lab that offers advisory, scent design, and blending for companies and private clients.
