Trio of Beulah Icons shortlisted for 2021 IDEA Awards
Habitus, Paragon and The Grounds of Kew

We are delighted to share the exciting news that our Habitus, Paragon and The Grounds of Kew projects have all been shortlisted in the Multi Residential category of the Interior Design Excellence Awards (IDEA), Australia’s largest and most successful independent design awards programme.

Featuring hundreds of submissions from Australia’s leading architecture and design firms, entries are judged by a panel of design industry professionals, each of whom brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the process. Winners are determined by the jury, with winners announced at the IDEA Gala Party in November.

With sophisticated architecture and interior design by DKO Architecture, Habitus encapsulates the modern urban lifestyle with its limited collection of 25 terrace homes showcasing forward-thinking features throughout. Each aspect has been carefully considered with an interior palette that references the history of Emerald Hill and the volcanic soil that supports it.

The highly awarded, multi-disciplinary international design firm Fender Katsalidis brought the holistic solutions and design quality for which they are known to both Paragon and The Grounds of Kew. The former offers unparalleled views of Melbourne’s CBD and home to Australia’s first indoor urban forest, which transforms the cityscape into a private sky garden, while the latter celebrates artistry and craftsmanship in the exclusive Sackville Ward domain, where traditional grandeur blends with the natural grace of suburban living.

Special thanks to our partners DKO Architecture and Fender Katsalidis who we had the pleasure of working with. All three unique projects are a testament to the power of collaboration and great design outcomes achieved when industry thought leaders come together.
