Paragon Makes World Architecture Awards 2022 Shortlist
Completed Building Category

We are excited to announce that Paragon has been shortlisted for the World Architecture Awards 2022, in the Completed Buildings category. The Awards are part of the World Architecture Festival (WAF) which will take place on 30 November – 2 December 2022 in Lisbon. Winners will be assessed over three rounds of peer-review judging, with results revealed on December 2.

Now in its 15th year, WAF is the world’s largest festival and live awards competition dedicated to celebrating and sharing architectural excellence from across the globe, and the only one of its kind to combine awards, seminars and networking. The live-judged awards sit at the heart of the festival alongside keynote talks, fringe events and an exhibition. It is the place where architects meet to share ideas and set the future agenda.

Paragon is designed by renowned architectural studio Fender Katsalidis, who together with Beulah, conducted extensive research into the needs and wants of inner-city residents to inform the interior of each apartment, and the development of amenity spaces. Among its most striking highlights is the ‘urban forest’ level, where landscape designer Paul Bangay has created Australia’s first indoor urban forest, a lush green escape high above the bustling city streets.
